Seeking Volunteers to Test New Grants Management System
OSPI is seeking district staff who are interested in testing the new grants management system, Education Grants Management System (EGMS). This system will go live in May 2022, and will eventually replace iGrants. We have been testing the system as it is being developed. However, in January, we will begin testing the entire system from beginning to end (application access, budget revisions, claims, and end-of-year reports, etc.). If you are interested in volunteering to test EGMS, please contact Jason Miller at jason.miller@k12.wa.us.

We are excited to announce two job opportunities in our office.
EGMS & LAP Program Supervisor The EGMS & LAP Program Supervisor will devote a portion of their time working directly with the new grants management system (EGMS) to coordinate the review and approvals of the ESEA Consolidated Grant Application. This position will also support districts as they plan, serve, and report on the Learning Assistance Program in schools throughout the state.
21st Century Community Learning Center Program Supervisor The 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) program supervisor develops, administers, evaluates, and reviews the federal 21st CCLC competitive grant program, and ensures this program is a meaningful component of the overall pre-K-12 educational effort of Washington. 21st CCLC programs provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools.
