Public hearing on certificate fees

PESB is proposing to increase certificate fees by $1 for each year of validity. This would mean educators would pay $6 for each year of validity instead of $5. This certificate fee increase would not impact paraeducators. Learn more about this proposal.

PESB welcomes input from stakeholders, partners, and the general public. You have two options to share your public comment on this new proposal:

Verbal: We are hosting a public hearing for this proposal on Tuesday, October 26 at 1 p.m. The public comment sign-up will be open between 12:55 -1:10 p.m. We will share the public sign-up link on the screen when you enter the meeting, as well as in the chat box. Each comment will be limited to two minutes. Register to attend the public hearing.
