Pandemic EBT cards are being mailed to families, with the last mailed on April 27. Cards may take 7-10 days to arrive. OSPI has developed a communications toolkit for districts regarding PEBT, available on our website.
We’ve also recently published a blog post on the subject, featuring answers to some of the most commonly received questions from parents.
Holocaust Education Professional Development Opportunity
In partnership with Facing History and Ourselves, the Holocaust Center for Humanity presents From Reflection to Action: Teaching for Civic Agency. Explore frameworks, resources, and teaching strategies that empower students to envision the ways that they themselves might contribute to the process of creating a more humane, just, and compassionate world.
Covid-19 Student Survey
In March, schools throughout the state who serve students in grades 6 to 12, participated in the COVID-19 Student Survey. The purpose of this student perspective survey was to get student’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors pertaining to their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.
OSPI is looking for feedback from schools and districts about their experience participating in the survey, as well as feedback from schools who did not take the survey and the barriers associated with that.
Please take this brief survey (4-6 questions), to help us know how we can better serve you.
