We are happy to announce that we are working with ICN to host this training online! Our first training session will be held on June 10 and 11, 2020.
STARS Credits are available for this training - you must attend the full 7-hour training to receive credit.

To better plan, we need to know how many attendees to expect. Please fill out the interest survey by Friday, May 29.
Overview
This training features updated requirements for serving meals and snacks to participants as outlined in the latest CACFP meal patterns. We are working through School Districts in alphabetical order and are currently in the “M” section!
Earlier this year, we announced that OSPI CNS would be releasing an updated Permanent Agreement for Child Nutrition Programs. We started this process by working with school districts in alphabetical order. New sponsors are automatically sent the electronic version.
The Superintendent and Food Service Director from each district will receive an email from DocuSign containing the agreement. Please note that each district’s Superintendent is the required signer, and Food Service Directors (as identified in WINS) will be copied for informational purposes only. Thank you for your patience!
If you're wondering what the Permanent Agreement is, or what to expect with this update, we recorded a webinar for you to watch at your convenience.

If your meal service is different than before COVID-19 closures, your organization is required to submit a Meal Distribution Plan (MDP) to your program specialist.
Submit a MDP if your organization is doing any of the following:
- Serving meals in a 'Grab & Go' style.
- Serving meals 'Grocery' style.
- Serving meals in a manner different than before the COVID-19 outbreak.
This documentation may be reviewed in upcoming Administrative Reviews and could have financial impact if it is not received.
Reminder:
If you are closed, you do not need to submit a MDP. Please reach out to your specialist to let them know you are closed and when you expect to re-open (if you have that information). Your program specialist must approve any changes in your calendar prior to re-opening.
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, guidance and operations are frequently changing. To assist with your questions and to share important information, we are continuing our weekly webinars that are held on Tuesday afternoons.
