All institutions participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) are required to attend annual training. Completion of annual training is required for continued participation in CACFP. At a minimum, the person responsible for oversight of the CACFP must attend. This training is intended for directors and administrators.
Does your organization sponsor a Child Care Program?
We will be hosting this year’s training for Child Care programs in a “mini-conference” style with multiple one-hour sessions being offered throughout the day, but on each side of the state!
Planned training sessions will include a variety of topics appropriate for both new and seasoned staff. We are also looking into offering STARS credit for some or all of the trainings provided.
East Side: Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Central Washington University
West Side: Friday, June 19, 2020 at Puget Sound ESD
Are you a school district offering the At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program?
Training will be held with NSLP Annual Training. Please keep an eye out for upcoming newsletters.
Training for Adult Care will be offered at a separate time.
Registration information will be released in April. Please keep an eye out for future CNS Updates.
