Upcoming learning opportunities on new paraeducator training requirements

A new legislative funding decision means school districts are now required to provide two days of training on the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) to all instructional paraeducators during the 2019-20 school year. Learn more about this announcement in our bulletin. A four day (28 hour) curriculum, the FCS is the core training all paraeducators must receive before working with students and their families, or at a minimum, by established deadlines. Learn more about the FCS.

Several upcoming learning opportunities are being planned to help prepare and support school districts on their new training requirements.
