Survey seeks feedback on behavioral analysts in Washington schools

Over the last few years, the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) has received numerous inquiries from partners and stakeholders regarding the possibility of an Educational Staff Association (ESA) certificate for Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs).

PESB would like to further explore this topic by determining how large the BCBA workforce is in Washington schools. We are asking districts to take a survey to help better inform potential next steps. PESB is working with school officials on all ESA certificate requirements and has included a sub-group specifically focused on BCBAs.

If you are not the best person in your district to complete the survey, please share this message with the person you think can complete it.
