Every month we share a list of the most recent state certified businesses including the business name, contact information, business description, etc. This list is best utilized regularly in combination with OMWBE's Directory of Certified Businesses.

The end of fiscal year 2026 is upon us! Please log into Access Equity and review all of your contracts. All contracts must include the following information for the spend to count for your annual Supplier Diversity Participation Report:
- At least one subcontractor
- Payments recorded for Primes for the July 2025 - June 2026 audits
- If no payment was made, $0 must be entered
- Payments recorded to Subcontractors for the July 2025 - June 2026 audits
- If no payment was made, $0 must be entered
Please ensure all these pieces are completed by August 31, 2026. As always, reach out to us at AccessEquity@omwbe.wa.gov for questions and assistance.

This year’s Juneteenth theme “Bringing Balance to America’s Celebration of Freedom” offered us a moment for reflection and celebration of the steps made toward racial equality within America. Although there is more work ahead, it gave us the opportunity to appreciate the growing acknowledgement of diverse voices and backgrounds.
Juneteenth, 2026 marked the 161st anniversary of the day that Union Soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas informing enslaved people that the Civil War ended and they were free, two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. This Juneteenth and in future years, we will continue to honor the past and celebrate continuing efforts through joy, movement, and community.

Try searching our directory today, to find LGBTQ Business Enterprises to meet your contracting needs. OMWBE will begin tracking state utilization of LGBTQ-owned businesses for the first time in our FY 2026 annual report.
