Greetings Partners,
Every month we share a list of the most recent state certified businesses including the business name, contact information, business description, etc. This list is best utilized regularly in combination with OMWBE's Directory of Certified Businesses.
Please contact our Supplier Diversity team for assistance using our online directory, or to schedule a virtual training for your procurement team.

We often receive similar questions from multiple users of Access Equity. Here are the answers to the most common questions we receive.
Q: Do contracts signed before FY25 but paid in FY25 need to be reported? A: Yes. Any subcontractor payment made during the fiscal year must be reported, regardless of when the contract was originally signed.
Q: Should we report only certified subcontractors? A: No. All contracts with subcontractors must be reported, regardless of the subcontractor’s certification status.
Q: How do we enter and audit payments in Access Equity? A: Create the contract in Access Equity, add the prime, and ideally have the prime add the subcontractor. Each month, enter the date and amount paid to the prime. The prime confirms payment and records the payment to the sub, and the sub confirms receipt. If there is no payment for a month, enter “0” with a date.
Q: Should we add Access Equity language to all contracts? A: Yes. Adding the language to all contracts ensures compliance if subcontractors are added later and avoids the need to amend contracts mid-term.
Thanks for the great questions. Keep them coming!
