Navigating the State Spending Freeze

Gov. Inslee issued a directive on December 2nd freezing state spending on most nonessential service contracts and purchases due to a projected budget shortfall. 

Statewide contracts remain in place for agencies to use for their essential and mission-critical goods and services. For contracts and purchases that fall under the $10,000 exemption threshold, please consider an OMWBE certified business. There are over 4,000 qualified firms in our Certified Business Directory, that are ready to fulfil your contracting and purchasing needs.

Uncertainty always presents us with challenges. Your continued commitment to supplier diversity principles supports small and diverse businesses, many of which rely on government contracts to grow and operate sustainably.
