The 2023 Washington Regional Contracting Forum is a free, in-person event to connect small, diverse, and veteran-owned businesses with public agencies that buy goods and services, including architecture and engineering services. Our goal is to connect Washington small businesses and those owned by women, veterans, and people in racial or socioeconomic minorities with public agency purchasers.

Black-owned businesses in the United States account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and about 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses. As of 2023, there are approximately two million Black-owned companies. You can support these businesses by purchasing directly from them.

The Education Connections Committee was formed by the Capital Projects Advisory Review Board (CPARB) to connect the design and construction community with education opportunities, including alternative public works contracting, to enhance industry knowledge, quality and efficiency towards successful outcomes. They are seeking an OMWBE State Certified Business to participate and offer perspective at the 1-hour monthly meeting.
