DES to launch meeting series for contracts' users
Enterprise Services offers an array of language-access master contracts to meet purchasers’ needs in communicating with people in Washington with limited English proficiency.
As an additional resource, the DES Language Access Program is launching a series of regular meetings at which contract users can ask questions, connect with other purchasers and learn how the contracts meet the interpretive and translation needs of public agencies and their clients.
Language-access purchaser meetings will be held the last Wednesday of every month unless otherwise shown on the Language Access calendar. The first in the series will be June 29.
The virtual meetings are open to all eligible purchasers in Washington who use statewide master contracts, including state agencies, public colleges and universities, and parties to the Master Contracts Usage Agreement.
If interested in joining the language access purchaser meetings, contact Antoinette Wynne, DES’s language access analyst, to receive an invitation.
