Fast Track MBE & DBE Certification In-Person Training
Local Pierce County businesses are encouraged to participate in a "Fast Track Certification" Training for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certifications.
The Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County (EDB), in partnership with the Washington Minority Business Development Agency Center (WAMBDA) and the Office of Minority and Women's Business Enterprise, is hosting a "Fast Track Certification" Training to help businesses recover and rebound from the effects of the pandemic.
This is a great opportunity for local businesses to increase their competitive advantage and vie for new contracting opportunities for certified businesses with federal, state, and local governments.
Businesses will receive:
- In-person training and overview about the certification process
- Tips on how to successfully complete an application
- Access to a computer lab during the training session
- 1-on-1 support and ongoing follow-up from staff
The event is happening Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Two sessions are available:
9:00pm - 12:00pm 2:00pm - 5:00pm
