Proposal: Proposal: Substantial development permit to re-develop a residential waterfront lot on Groat Point. The existing single-family dwelling will be demolished and a new dwelling, retaining walls, pool and spa will be constructed. An existing dock will be repaired including replacement of roofing on a covered moorage. Approximately 440 lineal feet of an existing bulkhead will be replaced and 125 lineal feet of beach will be restored. Site work includes excavating up to 4,675 cubic yards of earth and importing 3,895 cubic yards of fill, with up to 700 cubic yards of earth being exported off-site. The proposal includes relocation of a public sewer line and replacement of a storm water outfall.
