The project will complete a new roadway through the proposed Lynnwood Place development (Costco). A new intersection will be constructed on 184th Street SW just east of the existing 33rd Avenue W intersection. The new roadway will extend north from the new intersection to the existing intersection at Alderwood Mall Parkway and Maple Road. |

Last week, with favorable weather, we continued concrete pouring work. This included ADA ramps at the north entrance and gas station entrances, and more sidewalks at the north end and the 184th end. We also poured the cross
walks at the gas station and east/west entrances. In
addition, we coordinated with Snohomish County PUD (Engineering/Inspection) for
our contractor to install the transformer vault and associated conduit at the
182nd (East/West Road)/33rd Ave intersection.
This week, with favorable weather early in the week, more
concrete sidewalk, ADA ramps and the north entrance cross walk pours occurred.
Also, the electrical subcontractor poured more illumination and ped bases
and preparations
were being made for the deep drilling of special signal pole foundations.
Next week the landscaper plans to mobilize and commence
preparation of planter beds, followed by irrigation and planting. Continued
preparations are being made for the deep drilling of special signal pole
foundations, starting with 184th, moving to the work at the Alderwood
Mall Parkway intersection. We will also be relocating the PUD
feeder line. The paving of asphalt sidewalks may be occurring soon along the
western side of 33rd from 184th up to 30th
Ave, pending schedule coordination and weather permitting.
