Volunteer at the Market!

Shifts available for individuals or groups

The Lynnwood Farmers Market is recruiting individuals and/or groups interested in volunteering to help as parking attendants, counters and general helpers for set-up and tear down. Shifts times vary depending on availability. There are lots of opportunities for groups to volunteer together. The Lynnwood Farmers Market is a 16-week, seasonal market and community celebration held at one of Lynnwood’s most visible and popular parks, Wilcox Park -located at 5215 196th St SW. The market will be open weekly on Thursday evenings from 3 – 7pm featuring approximately 30 vendors offering a variety of fresh, locally-grown produce, processed food products and hand-crafted items. The market is coordinated by the City of Lynnwood and will also feature free performances, food trucks, live music, and children's activities. The Lynnwood Farmers Market is not only a great place to purchase local produce and goods, but it is a place to enjoy an evening with family and friends. Car Seat Technician Cheryl

Lynnwood Police Department Seeking Volunteer Car Seat Technicians

The Lynnwood Police Department is recruiting for two, volunteer Car Seat Technicians. These volunteers teach and assist citizens how to correctly install child car seats. To become a Car Seat Technician, a four-day training (spread over two weeks) is required provided at no cost. Technicians generally volunteer 4 to 8 hours per month for a 2-year commitment. Physical requirements include: ability to reach, grasp, and lean within tight spaces – namely vehicles. Applicants who are accepted into the program will be provided the required training.
