Hands Are Not For Hitting

Hundreds of children from all around Snohomish County created these beautiful flags seen here at the Lynnwood Recreation Center. The artists were inspired by the book Hands Are Not For Hitting, Hands Are For... Their artwork and messages send a reminder of the power of nonviolence.

Stop by the Lynnwood Recreation Center from October 14 - 20 to see this artwork and please take a moment to ask yourself...What can I do to reduce violence in my community?
