Please follow all pedestrian and traffic control.


There will be a detour 9pm Thursday, April 30th thru 5:30am Friday, May 1st. Please follow signage.

Week Ending May 30, 2026

  • Clearing, grubbing and Asphalt removal has begun.

  • Concrete barriers have been placed alongside I-5 to provide a protected work zone.
  • The temporary reroute of the Interurban Trail at 33rd Ave W and Alderwood Mall Blvd is now in place.

Week Ending May 10, 2026

  • The Interurban Trail reroute will be in effect at 33rd Ave W and Alderwood Mall Blvd. Concrete Barriers have been placed to safely separate the trail users from cars on the road. Ramps over the grass onto the rerouted trail and detour signage will be clearly placed before the reroute goes into effect on Monday, May 4th.
