Removing valley gutter within driveway sections along 33rd Ave W.
Please follow all pedestrian and traffic control.
Beginning September 8th, The contractor will be working day shifts on 33rd Ave W and night shifts on Alderwood Mall Parkway.
August 18 thru August 22, 2025:
- Contractor sawcut & removed curb & gutter sections along 33rd Ave W from the intersection of 184th Street SW all the way up to JR Furniture.
- Removed curb & gutter sections were backfilled with crushed rock to allow for all 4 lanes of traffic to move along 33rd Ave W.
- Contractor sawcut & removed valley gutter within driveway sections from 188th Street SW all the way up to JR Furniture along 33rd Ave W.
- Driveway access along 33rd Ave W will remain open during construction for removal of driveway sections. Removed driveway section is backfilled with crushed rock to allow access for all driveways under construction.
August 25 thru August 29, 2025:
- Contractor completed removal of both curb, gutter & valley gutter sections along 33rd Ave W. All removed section were backfilled with crushed rock to allow for full roadway & driveway access.
- Contractor lowered and removed utility valves and manholes along 33rd Ave W from Red Robin to JR Furniture to prepare for removal of roadway.
- Removed utility valves and manholes along 33rd Ave W backfilled with cold patch to allow for full roadway access.
Schedule look ahead:
- Starting August 29th, the contractor will be replacing & adjusting catch basins along 33rd Ave W.
- Per the contractors schedule this work is anticipated to continued until September 2nd.
- Pouring for curb, gutter and valley gutter sections along 33rd Ave W is anticiapated to take place during the week of September 2nd to September 5th.
