One dead, one injured after shooting on New Years Eve

LYNNWOOD WA (December 31, 2024)-On Tuesday December 31st, at approximately, 8:19 PM officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 19700 block of 68th Ave West. Officers arrived to find a deceased juvenile male in the parking lot and another injured juvenile male nearby. The injured juvenile was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two suspects fled on foot and are still outstanding. This is believed to be an isolated incident with no active threat to the public.

This is currently an active investigation.
