 Major construction is complete!

The City of Lynnwood would like to thank our Community for their patience during this project!

Major work for the 196th St SW (SR-524) Improvement Project has been completed! This corridor is home to hundreds of businesses, a major transit center, and a future light rail station. After over two years of construction, improvements have been made that will reduce traffic congestion, better accommodate bus and transit travel, increase business access, provide utility capacity for future development, and promote safety.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding while crews have installed improvements that will accommodate the growth of Lynnwood City Center. In the coming weeks, you may see crews completing final upgrades and clearing construction equipment from the site.
