 Lynnwood City Council Seeking Candidates to Fill Council Vacancy
Lynnwood City Council Position #2 is currently vacant and the City Council is accepting applications from interested community members to fill this open position until the 2021 election is certified in November.
To be eligible to be appointed to the Lynnwood City Council from June 2021 until certification of the November 2021 election, you:
- Must have continuously resided within the Lynnwood City limits for a minimum of one year prior to your appointment to the council (Use our Do I Live in Lynnwood map to see if you live within Lynnwood City Limits), and
- Must be a registered voter in the city, 18 years of age or over. These are the same minimum state law requirements that apply to all elected Councilmembers.

To be considered, your application must be completed, signed, and received by the City Clerk electronically or at Lynnwood City Hall, 19100 44th Avenue W., no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 23, 2021. Mailing postmark is NOT acceptable. Additional written information after this date will not be accepted, unless requested by the city council.
