Week of March 8, 2021 

196^th St SW and 44^th Ave W (formally Precision Tune Auto Care)

• Clearing out and removing contaminated soil 

196^th St SW and 48^th Ave W

• Sewer line work heading south on 48^th Ave W. This work does not interrupt services
• Yellow, green and red signal heads realigned to accommodate recent traffic shift

196^th St SW between 48^th Ave W and 44^th Ave W

• Sewer line work heading west to east; does not interrupt existing services
• Digging (potholing) to confirm underground utility locations

Week of March 15, 2021 

Between 48^th Ave W and 44^th Ave W

• Waterline and fire hydrant work
  • Temporary overnight water shutoffs are required for this work. Affected businesses and residents will be notified in advance. Work hours are from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Sewer line work heading west to east, not interruption of existing services
• New waterline placement
• Digging (potholing) to confirm underground utility locations 

Northside of 196^th St SW and 48^th Ave W

• Sewer installation near Fred Meyer (4615 196^th St)
  • 48^th Ave W on the north side of 196^th St SW to the first driveway into Fred Meyer will be closed Monday, March 15, between the hours of 8 PM and 6 AM. This closure will occur each night through Wednesday, March 17. A detour route will be in place.
