New Foul Air Scrubber being delivered and installed at the WWTP.
December 2nd, 2020
A new Foul Air Scrubber for the Aeration Basins was lifted into place at the WWTP today, December 2nd.
The City of Lynnwood will be replacing an existing steel building and replacing the roof of the other steel building at the Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Demolition of the building being replaced will start in mid December 2020. All work is estimated to be completed in the summer of 2021.
This rehabilitation of the existing facility is necessary and does not increase the capacity of the facility or add to the footprint.
Should you have any questions regarding this work or the operation of the Lynnwood Wastewater Treatment Plant please contact John Ewell, WWTP Supervisor at 425-670-5250 or JEwell@LynnwoodWA.gov for any concerns.
