Dear Artists and Creatives,
The arts and creative sector is being hit hard by the COVID-19 shutdown. Everything from canceled shows, events, to teaching gigs! That's because so much of what we do involves human connections and building communities. We've put together some local and regional resources on our website specifically for artists/creatives. Stay well. Please check it out.
Statewide Cultural & Creative Economic Recovery Survey
Be heard! 14 agencies have joined forces to create this survey. If you only take one survey about the impact you've felt because of COVID, take this one: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/statewide_recovery
With the closing of many City of Lynnwood buildings and thus the cancelling of many art exhibits at City Hall and the Recreation Center, here are some beautiful images from local artists we do not want you to miss! Also check out their slideshows!
Artist Gabrielle Abbott had planned to visit College Place Elementary School to work with 5th graders to design a mural at South Lynnwood Park. Because schools are closed, she made online Art Lessons to share with all of us. Their theme is nature, and they are fun for everyone.
Are you into arts and culture? Do you think creativity is vital to how we do things? If you are a dynamic person wanting to get things done, then we invite you to apply
