Lift Stations 4 & 8 Improvements

Installing 12 inch gravity sewer pipe, 10 feet underground.

The Lift Station 4&8 project includes sewer pipe and manhole replacement within the Alderwood Mall parking lot near the movie theater.

Week of February 3rd:

Lift Station 8

• The contractor continues to install 12” gravity sewer pipe on private property approximately 10’ underground. They are backfilling the trench and managing the site as they progress.
• The contractor anticipates transitioning to 54” diameter storm pipe installation this week, starting at the existing storm pond south of the movie theater. This pipe will replace the existing aging storm pipe, which is about 750 feet long.

Lift Station 4

• The contractor has begun to mobilize and prepare the existing Lift Station 4 site for the proposed pipe installation and modifications to the facility located just north of Homewood Suites. They are installing temporary erosion and sediment control measures around the site.
