Lynnwood Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

LYNNWOOD, WA (November 7, 2019) - On Tuesday, November 5, at 11:34 AM, a subject entered Key Bank (19800 44^th Ave W), implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash from a teller.  The subject left without obtaining any money and immediately went to a nearby Wells Fargo (4325 198^th ST SW) where he again implied he had a weapon and demanded cash.  The suspect left Wells Fargo with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area.  Despite an extensive search by responding police officers the suspect was not located.  Lynnwood detectives were able to identify the subject and notified other law enforcement agencies in the area to be on the look out for the individual.  Lynnwood detectives were notified today, November 7, that the suspect has been taken into custody on unrelated criminal charges by the Mount Vernon Police Department. Further details are not being released at this time as the investigation continues.
