FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

City of Lynnwood Partners with the Washington State Business License Service (BLS)
Exciting news, applying for a City of Lynnwood business license just got easier.

LYNNWOOD, WA (November 4, 2019) - The City of Lynnwood is partnering with the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) to provide you with a more convenient process of obtaining business licenses. Running a business is hard enough, the City wants to help by streamlining business licensing.  Rather than going through multiple localities, businesses will now be able to apply and renew both their city and state licenses through the BLS website. The new streamlined Business License Service will be available November 14, 2019.

Lynnwood Development & Business Services (DBS) is committed to excellent customer service and process improvements, and this is one step closer to achieving these goals. DBS continues to provide a one-stop shop for all your business, permitting, and development needs.

For more information, visit the BLS website at https://dor.wa.gov/about/my-dor-help or call BLS at 1-800-451-7985.
