Traffic Impacts

  • Temporary channelization on 36th Ave. W has moved the north and southbound lanes to the east side of the road. Please follow traffic control.
  • The west leg of 172nd St. SW will remain closed with detours until Spring 2020.

Week of September 30th

  •  Between 177thPl SW and 165th Pl SW
    • Placing two fire hydrants; one at 167th Pl SW the other at 166th Pl SW
    • Grading for sidewalk, curb and gutter
    • Placing curb, gutter, sidewalk and ADA ramp concrete
    • Paint retaining wall and barrier at the SW quadrant of 36th and 172nd
    • Placing gravel for the new roadway (North of 172nd)
    • Irrigation
    • Flashing beacon foundations at Spruce Park
    • Clearing near 165th

Week of October 7th

  • Between 179th St SW and 165th St SW, the Contractor will be:
    • Placing a fire hydrant at 165th Pl SW
    • Landscaping
    • Placing gravel for the new roadway (North of 172nd)
    • Grading for sidewalk,  curb and gutter
    • Placing curb, gutter, sidewalk and ADA ramp concrete
    • Installing the wood fence in the SW quadrant of 172nd and 36th
    • Drainage on the west leg of 172nd
    • Placing wood fence
    • Staining wood fence
    • Flashing beacon foundations at Spruce Park
