On Monday, September 16, 2019, Mayor Nicola Smith and the Lynnwood City Council passed resolution 2019-06 formally supporting the United States Navy's Adopt-a-Ship Program with the adoption of USS Sampson. This program helps to foster community relations between military personnel and their home base communities. Lynnwood has a long-standing commitment to being a Veteran-Supportive city, and this is another opportunity for our community to honor and support our nation's service members.
