City of Lynnwood is planning for construction of the 2019 Overlay & Curb Ramp Project. This is the second year of a multi-year commitment to complete annual paving projects and is a follow-up to the chip seal project completed last year. Streets included in our 2019 paving projects were selected through our pavement management program and field-verified by our Operations, Maintenance and Capital project development staff.
This year’s project will focus primarily on two high-traffic volume areas: 188th St. SW. and 68th Ave W. This project includes:
- Full depth repair of pavement in selected areas,
- Grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas,
- Upgrading curb ramps,
- Replacing a mid-block pedestrian crossing with a beacon and
- Replacing pedestrian push buttons.
This Project is currently scheduled to being in July 2019 and projected to end during Fall 2019. See project website for detailed description of the planned construction and the attached map presenting construction sites.
