Update Regarding Fatal Collision on January 13, 2019
LYNNWOOD, WA (January 18, 2019) - We continue to investigate the collision that occurred on January 13, 2019, near the 19700 block of northbound 76th Ave W. The collision occurred at approximately 3:45 PM. Three vehicles were involved: two were occupied and one was parked and unoccupied.
A man driving a newer white Jaguar sedan collided with another vehicle before coming to rest on a parked vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle that was struck was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the white Jaguar sedan attempted to flee the scene of the collision, but was arrested nearby by an Edmonds police officer. The driver of the white sedan, a male in his 20s, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Vehicular Homicide, Hit and Run, and Attempting to Elude. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
