40th Ave Water Tank Repair Project

Construction Update:

Construction continues on the 40th Ave Water Tanks. Last week, the “door sheet” that was cut in the side of the tank for equipment access was welded back into place. The contractor is now finishing interior painting around the welded areas. They are also finishing applying the first of three coats of paint on areas on the exterior of the tank where welding was done, such as the spiral staircase and a ring near the top of the tank.

This photo shows the inside of the reservoir which has been painted. The Contractor is installing piping to promote water quality improvements via hydraulic mixing.
