Three Alarm Fire at Construction Site of Senior Apartments

LYNNWOOD, WA (January 26, 2017) - At approximately 9:30pm, crews were dispatched to a 3-alarm fire at the construction site of the Reserve at Scriber Creek Senior Apartment Complex, located at 5800 Scriber Creek Road. The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Two neighboring apartment complexes have been evacuated and Red Cross is sheltering approximately 150 residents overnight. Two Firefighters sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Swedish Edmonds. Cause of the fire and estimated damages is unknown until the Fire Marshal completes an investigation. Crews will remain on scene overnight on a fire watch.

The Lynnwood Fire Department would like to thank the many agencies that sent resources to Lynnwood this evening.
