The New Lift Station & Force Main 16

Thursday September 29, 2016 at 10 a.m.

Lift Station 16: 19400 56th Ave W

This project intercepts flows that flowed to Lift Station 10 which is near capacity. Lift Station 16 has the capacity of 2500 gpm using Wemco submersible pumps. Project includes a new 7100' force main from the Lift Station site to an existing discharge manhole located adjacent to the city golf course. The new force main conveys sewage from Lift Station 16 to an existing flow control structure just west of 68th Avenue W and 204th Street SW intersection. The project will help to reduce sewer overflows in the area.

The project is being designed and built through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) - Energy Program.
