60th Avenue W Utility Replacement Project

This week fill was placed over the cellular concrete placed last week.  Base rock has been placed making ready for asphaltic paving after curbs have been poured.  The driveways and curbs have been marked out and some have been removed. The Lynnwood Operations and Maintenance Center (LOMC) driveways are still closed and will remain closed for another 2 to 3 weeks.

Next week Kamin’s intends to have their concrete sub-contractor to begin placing curbs and driveways.  The fiber optic wiring will be placed back into the permanent conduits along the East side of the roadway and spliced back into permanently at the LOMC building.  The remaining roadway excavation to be done will be completed and new base rock will be placed. Kamin’s intends to work Tuesday through Friday of the upcoming week.
