Project will intercept flows that currently flow to Lift Station 10 which is near capacity. The Lift Station site is located just north of 196th Street SW on the west side of 56th Avenue W. The new force main will convey sewage from Lift Station 16 to an existing flow control structure just west of 68th Avenue W and 204th Street SW intersection.

Work this last week included, from the week starting June 13th:

Lift Station: Last week’s activates were scheduled around completing the sheeting the roof, the interior of the wet well, monorail structural steel, and electrical infrastructure.

Roof:The sheeting, or base layer, and tar paper was installed.  The building is now “dried in”.

Interior Wet-Well: The interior wet well concrete work was completed last week.  The pre-rotation basin were grouted in place, and the weir walls were formed and poured.

Monorail Crane Structural Steel:  The structural steel to support the overhead crane arrived.  The vertical members were anchored into the wet well lid, lift station slab, and CMU walls.  The horizontal member will be installed after the east door is installed.

Electrical Infrastructure and Equipment:  The transformer vault installed consisted of excavating for the new transformer vault, rigging the new transformer vault, and installing the secondary, from the transformer to the building, conduit and connectors, and the primary, from the utility to the transformer conduit.

This week starting June 20th:

Lift Station: The wet well mechanical installation will continue. The lift station mechanical and electrical interior rough-in will begin.
