Work associated with the Air Pollution Control project began on April 25th, 2016 at the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP). 

Between April 25 and April 29, the Contractor mobilized to the site, familiarized themselves with the WWTP facilities, equipment, and personnel.  Representatives from the design engineer met with the Contractor to discuss the job and clarify any confusion about the work required.  Demolition of the floors, ceiling, and walls was initiated in the control room, and the area was prepared for plumbing modifications. 

Between May 2 and May 6, 2016 additional demolition of plumbing components in the control room occurred.  Demolition and pipe marking in the incinerator room was also initiated. 

As of May 6, 2016, work is progress according to the accepted project schedule.
