Sewer Force Main project on Alderwood Mall Parkway from 184th Street SW to 182nd Street SW project

This project is expected to run from April 4th through May 6th, 2016.

Last week, the contractor mobilized on Monday, April 4th and commenced surveying. Work began on Tuesday night, April 5th by “potholing” for unknown/unlocated utilities in Alderwood Mall Parkway, primarily up toward the intersection of 184th Street SW. Then they started the dry force main sewer installation at Lift Station #4 on the East side of 182nd Street toward Alderwood Mall Parkway. Then they worked Southbound in the center left turn lane working up the hill on to 182nd St SW.

This week, installation continued with the dry force main sewer, southbound in the center left turn lane from up the hill from 182nd Street SW toward 184th Street SW intending to set the sewerage air release valve manhole.

Next week, installation is expected to continue with the dry force main sewer, southbound in the center left turn lane from the sewerage release valve manhole toward then end of the force main line just south of 184th Street SW Monday and Tuesday nights. Asphalt prep and paving is expected to occur on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Work will be occurring from 9:30pm until 6:00am
