Update on local outbreak of measles

Hello, Friends and Neighbors!

Clark County Public Health has created a web page about the measles outbreak in our area, with answers to most any basic question a person might have. I've updated my Senate website to include a convenient front-page link to the "measles investigation" page, which the county is planning to update every afternoon. Just look for the same photo on my website as you see here -- which shows what a case of measles can look like on a person's back after several days (and doesn't show the dangerously high fever that can accompany the rash).

I'm keeping in close contact with public-health officials at both the county and state levels and will be sure to inform you about any developments beyond the daily updates. In the meantime let's appreciate the work of those who are responding to this outbreak, and have hope that it will end soon with all patients recovering fully.
