As many of you are aware, there are six initiatives before the legislature this session. Of the six initiatives, three have been scheduled for a public hearing. The legislature provides opportunities for you to share your opinion. There are multiple options to do this, you can sign up testify in person, remotely, or offer written testimony or indicate your position without testimony. A link for each initiative will be provided below.
Initiative 2111 would ban the adoption of a personal income tax in Washington State. The initiative is scheduled for a joint public hearing on Tuesday, February 27, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. This hearing is your opportunity to share your opinion regarding this initiative.

Initiative 2081 establishes a parent’s bill of rights in the public education system. This initiative is scheduled for a joint public hearing on Wednesday, February 28, from 8am to 9am. This hearing is your opportunity to share your opinion regarding this initiative.

Initiative 2113 restores the reasonable suspicion standard for police pursuits. This initiative is scheduled for a joint public hearing on Wednesday, February 28, from 9am to 10am. This hearing is your opportunity to share your opinion regarding this initiative.
