Letter from Leadership
As House Republican Floor Leader, my job includes guiding my colleagues into debate on important issues.
Last Friday, we brought a debate on tax protections, education funding and ensuring you have a stronger voice in the legislative process to the House floor. We were proud to stand up for struggling families, schools and those who want to make a difference in Olympia.
To watch some highlights of this debate, click here. You can also find an opinion piece one of my colleagues, Rep. Dan Kristiansen, wrote on it here.
I hope you have an enjoyable weekend. We will be in touch again next week.
Sincerely, Rep. J.T. Wilcox 2nd District Floor Leader
Rep. Brad Hawkins (left) is new to the Washington State House of Representatives, but he's not new to the issue of K-12 education. Hear why the former East Wenatchee School Board president supports our Fund Education First solution by clicking here.
