Route 26–Bay Vista – Detour
Effective April 6 through April 29, 2022
Starting on Wednesday, April 6, Kitsap Transit will detour a portion of Route 26–Bay Vista. The City of Bremerton is doing a water main construction project on a portion of Oyster Bay Road that is anticipated to last a month.
Route 26–Bay Vista will bypass Oyster Bay Avenue and a portion of Russell Road from Oyster Bay Avenue to Bay Vista Boulevard. The bus will travel the southern portion of Russell Road and continue its normal route.
Six stops on Route 26 will be closed – four on Oyster Bay Avenue and two on Russell Boulevard. Two temporary stops will be added to the south end of Russell Road.
