Kitsap Transit Plans to Resume Full Seating Capacity
Effective July 1
Kitsap Transit plans to resume operating its buses and ferries at full seating capacity on July 1, pending Gov. Jay Inslee's order to reopen the state on June 30 and eliminate physical-distancing requirements.
Kitsap Transit will continue to enforce the federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) order requiring face masks covering the nose and mouth while on public transportation and inside transit hubs. Passengers are no longer required to wear a mask outdoors at transit hubs under revised federal guidance.
