Upcoming meeting provides opportunity to review and comment on proposed amendment
The Planning Commission will consider testimony on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, for a proposed amendment of the Kitsap Countywide Planning Policies to add Appendix “F” which includes countywide Housing Allocations through 2044.
The allocations are a response to new State legislation and changes to the Growth Management Act that require counties to “provide for and accommodate” housing affordable to all income levels. These housing allocations were adopted on June 6, 2023, by the Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council.
