 On Behalf of Commissioner Mark Ozias, Chair of the Salish Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (SBH-ASO) Executive Board and Jon Stroup, Chair of the SBH-ASO Advisory Board, it is our pleasure to announce that Ms. Jolene Kron will be appointed Administrator of the organization effective November 27, 2023.
Ms. Kron was the top ranked candidate from the recruitment and interview process who brings twenty-nine years of behavioral health management and clinical experience to this vital leadership position. She is a qualified mental health professional that has successfully served as the Deputy Administrator of the SBH-ASO for over seven years. She has a master's degree in professional counseling, a bachelor's degree in psychology and a bachelor's degree in sociology. She is a Mental Health Professional certified by Department of Health since 2006 with a Clinical Supervisor for Mental Health licensure since 2012.
Ms. Kron’s twenty-nine-year career experience as a clinician and manager of behavioral health programs includes assessment, treatment planning, care coordination, and clinical treatment of Individuals and groups. She has extensive management experience supervising behavioral health Interns and professional staff in both for profit and non-profit environments serving Medicaid and Non-Medicaid populations. She has a successful history of program development, budget management in multi-layer systems and working with community partners to facilitate engagement and change systems of care to enhance service provision.
