CRITICAL AREAS ORDINANCE (CAO) UPDATE WORKING GROUP MEETING
When: Tuesday, October 10th from 9am-12pm
Where: Online via Zoom
Topic: Geologically Hazardous Areas
The CAO Update Working Group for geologically hazardous areas will conduct their second meeting on Tuesday, October 10th from 9am-12pm via Zoom. The working group members will review and discuss the required and recommended code changes based on the Best Available Science (BAS) summary, recommendations contained in the Consistency and Gap Analysis report, and discretionary requests made by County staff. The working group meeting is open to the public, however, public comment and/or question will not be taken during the meeting. Questions and comments can be sent to codeupdates@kitsap.gov. NOTE: The remaining critical areas (Wetlands, Frequently Flooded Areas, Fish & Wildlife Habitat Conservation Areas, and Critical Aquifer Recharge Areas) working group meeting dates will be released once confirmed.
