The Kitsap County Auditor’s Office has an opportunity for a Fiscal Support Specialist to join their team! This full-time position is limited term through June 30, 2024. The full salary range is $23.87 - $33.73 hourly, however, the anticipated starting wage is $26.35/hr.
This position is covered under the AFSCME 1308 collective bargaining agreement and offers medical/dental/vision, life insurance, participation in the PERS State Retirement Plan, 11 paid holidays and 2 additional floating holidays, with 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave both accrued monthly. Other voluntary benefit options are available at the employee's expense.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Four years of full-time experience in accounting and financial operations
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using Workday Financial Management, and with governmental accounting; OR,
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired knowledge and ability required to perform the work.
