Kitsap County reaches 100,000 vaccinations milestone; case rate creeping up
- Vaccination sites in Kitsap County have administered more than 100,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses. This milestone reflects the dedication of Kitsap healthcare professionals and volunteers, and the readiness of Kitsap residents to get vaccinated. We have a long way to go to get the majority of our community fully vaccinated, but we are making great progress. Thank you to everyone who has made this monumental effort possible!
- All Washington counties have entered a new phase of the state’s COVID-19 recovery plan. “Phase 3” allows for larger gatherings, increased indoor dining and entertainment, and more sporting events, among many other changes. Learn more at coronavirus.wa.gov
- The rate of COVID-19 cases reported in Kitsap County has increased slightly in recent weeks. We need to continue fighting the spread of COVID-19 so we can prevent more people from getting sick and keep our community on the path to recovery.
