COVID-19 cases are declining in Kitsap, but caution is needed to prevent a rebound
-
The number of COVID-19 cases reported in Kitsap County has declined since early January, but this pandemic is far from over. New cases are still being confirmed in every part of the county. COVID-19 activity is higher now than it was at the start of October. Continue taking steps to protect your health and the health of people around you!
-
More Kitsap County residents are getting vaccinated against COVID-19. About 15% of all Kitsap County residents have received at least one dose vaccine and 43% of residents 65 and older have had their first dose. While we are making great progress, we have a long way to go to get the majority of our residents vaccinated. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccination and find local updates.
-
New variants of the virus that causes COVID-19 have been found in Washington state. These variants may spread more easily from person to person, increasing the risk that more people in our community could get sick. It is more important than ever to wear a mask, wash your hands, keep a distance from people you don't live with, and take other steps to avoid getting or spreading viruses.
